EACH TEAM CAN SEND 1
PLAYER EACH FROM THEIR TEAM TO COMPETE IN THE STATE CHAMPIONSHIP 3 POINT CONTEST! THERE WILL BE A 5th GRADE, 6th GRADE,
7th GRADE and 8th GRADE WINNER AND A GIRLS 7th GRADE WINNER!
Contestants from each team - please arrive Gordon on Saturday,
March 22 at 12:30pm - further instructions will be available at the gym. Good
luck!
3 pt. contest is FIVE 3 pointers from 5
different spots on the floor, (5 from each corner, each wing, and the top of the
key) within a reasonable time. The top three scorers would then go to the finals
where the contest is repeated with the 3 finalists and the score is carried over
from the first round and the person with most made 3 pointers in both round
wins. In case of tie, take one 3 pointer from each spot to determine winner.
