12/2/2006 Masco 8th Grade Ipswich Black 53 Masco White 48 Masco lead by 14 in the first period. With strong defense Ipswich closed the gap and in the fourth quarter took the lead. At the end of regulation we were tied at 45. Good defense, team play and Kenny Wing hitting 5 out of 6  free throws won the game.  
12/2/2006 Forestdale School, Malden, MA 8th Grade Malden - Gold 41 Masco - Red 20 Good hard fought game played by both teams. Good hard fought game played by both teams.
12/3/2006 Sterling Center, Beverly 8th Grade Beverly 49 Wakefield 38 Beverly opened the Eastern League season with a convincing 49 to 38 win over Wakefield.  Scoring was lead by Steve Wilbur and Pete Trainor with 7 points each, followed closely by Mike Brusca and Shawn Ryder with 6 each,  Jun Koo 5 points, Nick Pinciaro and tom Banks had 4 points, Zack Neckoroski and Justin Thomas 3 points each, and Robert Beddetti and Pete Fydrich finished the scoring with 2 points each.
Defensively the panthers were led by Alex Traicoff who had 7 rebounds, Renaldo Cuko with 5 rebounds and 2 steals and Nick Pinciaro who had 4 steals and caused 7 turnovers.
 		  
12/3/2006 Hamilton-Wenham High School 8th Grade Hamilton-Wenham 56 Rockport 38 The Generals used a balanced attack to beat Rockport on Saturday.  They worked hard, and got a lot of transition baskets to pull away with a well fought win.

12/9/2006 Forestdale School, Malden, MA 8th Grade Malden - Gold 43 Masco - White 42 Masco - White lead by 3 at the half, Malden - Gold took an 8 point lead with two and a half minutes left, Maso ralied back to within 1, but Malden held on to escape with the win. Exciting, hard played game by both teams.
12/9/2006 Malden 8th Grade Malden Gold 43 Masco White 42 A hard fought contest with the lead going back and forth with Malden pulling it out in the final seconds. Great game, close all the way.

12/10/2006 Hamilton-Wenham High School 8th Grade Gloucester 40 Hamilton-Wenham 21 The Generals played hard, however, could not contain the boys from Gloucester.  They were a good, intense team that came to play.  Hamilton-Wenham made strides on the offensive and defensive end, and continue to get better.  
12/10/2006 Winchester High School, Winchester, MA 8th Grade Malden - Gold 54 Winchester 24 Close game early 29-14 at the half, Malden - Gold pulled away in the second half for the win. Good game played by both teams.

12/16/2006 Rockport 8th Grade Beverly 47 Rockport 44 Bverly came back from a 12-point defict to win  
12/16/2006 ROCKPORT HIGH SCHOOL 8th Grade BEVERLY 47 ROCKPORT 44 The panthers won a hard fought game against Rockport at Rockport High School after trailing by 11 points early in the second half. Beverly scored all 29 of their second half points in the last 12 minutes of the game led by Renaldo Cuko who had 7 points to go along with 3 rebounds and 4 steals.  Mike Brusca and Joom Koo also came up big defensively with 6 rebounds, 2 points and 5 rebounds, 6 points, respectively
Offensively, Steve Wilbur had 8 points followed by Alex Traicoff with 6 points and Nick Pinciaro, Zack Nekoroski, and Sean Ryder each contributing 4 points.
Beverly is now 2 -0 in the Eastern Hoop League.
 		  
12/16/2006 Masco 8th Grade Masco White 52 Reading 37 Masco's running game expanded a small half time lead to double digits in the second half. A hard fought fast paced game with great effort from both teams.

12/17/2006 Ipswich 8th Grade Rockport 53 Ipswich Black 38 Solid game from Rockport. Lots of kids scored.
