Phil Whitley is the Head Boys Basketball Coach, assistant
athletic director and fourth grade teacher at the Covenant Christian Academy
in West Peabody. He is a graduate of Gordon College with a B.S. in
Elementary Education and Psychology. Phil has been coaching boy’s middle
school and high school basketball for the past 6 years. He also has several
years of experience running junior clinics, teaching individual lessons and
working at local summer basketball camps including Gordon College.
Assistant Mike Gergely
- Mike Gergely is the high school boys assistant
coach at the Covenant Christian Academy. Mike has been working with the
Covenant Christian boys basketball teams for the past three years. Mike is
an excellent teacher of individual skill development and has a great passion
for the game.
