As a parent/guardian, it is your responsibility to make sure both you and your child are committed to the program and their teammates. This means a sacrifice for both parent and player. We understand that other family, church and school priorities can take priority over basketball. However, practices are important to both the player and team. You as a parent or Guardian need to do your best to get your child to practice every week. If you cannot please be sure to communicate with the coach so they can be aware and plan accordingly. This goes for games as well. We try to prevent outside distractions to interfere with what the teams are trying to accomplish through hard work at practice. Parents, please refrain from coaching your child at games because it distracts the player from concentrating on what they are supposed to do on the court and confuses them. If you have questions or issues regarding your child, see the coach in private, away from the players. If you are still not satisfied, please feel free to contact the organization at doug@easternhoopleague.com |
