The Eastern Travel League preseason agenda is below. There
are several action items that need to be done so please review and e-mail
doug@easternhoopleague.com with
any questions. We are looking forward to a fantastic year of travel basketball!

New 4th Grade Boys Travel Division added for 2008-09!

AGENDA / ACTION ITEMS
- Sign up your 2008-09 travel
teams online here - we would like to
have all teams signed up by November 10th with all home gym dates so we can
finalize the season schedule by November 15th
- Review the 2008-09 League rules
here - please e-mail any suggestions or

- Proposed start date for season - Saturday, December 6
- Proposed playoff dates - March 7-14th @ Gordon -
double elimination in each grade and division - 3 point contest and free
throw contest will be done by grade
- Each team should provide 8-10 home gym dates so each
team can have an 18-20 game season. I have some home gym dates reserved on
Saturday evenings at Gordon and the Sterling YMCA for $50 per hour and $70
per game for referees if you cannot get enough home game slots. Please

- After the first 4-6 games, some teams may need to move
into different divisions - realignment will be proposed by e-mail to all the
Directors with schedule changes being kept to the minimum
